Members and Moms, Hello!!! We had 4 guests and one new member this month at Genesee’s meeting: Victor (sorry-didn’t catch
last name), Kevin Wheent, Dave Dupry, Mike Stevenson, Marshall Bock. There were
2 new members and 3 guests at Shiawasee this month: Jackie and Kurt Vinton, Stephen
Mibulza III, Dave Standler and Kylee Lynn. 38 attendees at Genesee
and 41 at Shiawassee. As usual, “Thanks for giving a shit!!!”
Members of the month: For Genesee County: Amy France/C.B. Member of the month for
Shiawasee County
is Chase Poage. Both of them braved the cold weather and water balloons at the Awareness Party!!! And Chase spent his birthday with us at the party—To a future RC, Thanks Chase!!! Great job, C.B.!!!
Secretary and Treasurer Reports were read
and accepted.
Mike Poage gave a report on Awareness. Due to our great Awareness Team, we have great numbers on students so far this year!! Mike extended his thanks for attending the Awareness Party!!! Thanks to Lorenda,
we have the hall again. The Awareness Ride turned out well, we had 45 riders
at the end of the ride!!! Thanks for giving a shit!!! Bad news, all the federal money for awareness will be going to a police program to make bikers more aware
of bikers, when car drivers are our biggest problem. Call Mike (Kritter) 810-423-8711,
if you would like be become a Safety Awareness instructor!!!
CONGRATULATIONS to Mike Poage for becoming
the State Awareness Director!!! A very wonderful guest/new member, Mike Stevenson
gave $100 to our Awareness Program. –Thanks for giving a shit!!!
Chief Road Captain, no report at this meeting.
Chief Area Coordinator for Genesee County, Gerri Lynne (Mama Bear) has
been super busy getting flyers out for Bikin For Burns!!

the house but is still in the transportation committee for their vote. So contact
your senators!! Don’t forget May 12th is Legislative Day, Let
Bus or Marte know if you would like to go. June 9th is the Helmet
Protest in Lansing!!
A new law has passed, NO dangly stuff from your rearview mirrors of things stuck to your windshield such as a GPS or
it is a $160 fine!!! YEAH, better view to see all us bikers!!! I bet Kritter is happy!!! Something new that is in the
works, bar codes on your license plates!!! It will tell everything about you
from the bar, so be careful!!! Randy received an email from Paula Zelenko explaining
that she would like help in defeating John Slezak. Paula—YOU ROCK!!! Thanks for giving a shit and attending Bikin for Burns!!! So how about it, Region 20, let’s support Paula!!

to Georgia and TJ’s families. Georgia’s grandfather and TJ’s grandmothers have passed. Amanda seems to be doing ok, even after surgery!!! You go

Well, Biking for Burns (B4B) 2010, I want
to know who ordered the weather!!?? Perani’s went over well. What a great time! Grand Marshalls,
PJ, Zip and Maurice!! Swartz Creek and Durand firefighters were present and worked
their behinds off!!! The ride was nice and there were a bunch of people still
outside waving flags and cheering us on!!! The No Smoking in the hall didn’t
stop people from having a good time. Alter Ego, Uphoria and Forte, what a great
group of bands!!! Free camping, well, don’t know how well that went over,
but ask Emie & Dennis and Mack & Holly bout their experiences!! YIKES!!

Chairperson, Randy for the State Field Meet
at Oil City
will talk more about is at the June meeting. For vendor information Randy at
810-833-6456. Mama Bear has been doing a ton of phone calls-GREAT JOB!!!
Please try to sell some of the State Raffle
Tickets for the 2010 ElectraGlide motorcycle, since it is biggest fundraiser for ABATE.
The raffle ends at the Sturgis Toy Run on September 11, 2010. The is almost
paid for, so turn in money to Mack and Holly, if you have sold tickets.
For Open Discussion, we had Dave Duprey who
works with Auto City
at the meeting. He is willing to have all of the Region 20 members at a particular
dirt bike-turned-hybrid motorcycle racing event on August 15. He will make a
donation back to Region 20!. Dave, thanks for giving a shit!!
50/50 this month at Genesee
was won by Leo Oakly and he gave it back!!! Thanks for giving a shit, Leo!!!
