Awareness by Kritter:

There were 75 students taught in September.  Total for the year is 821. It was slow for October but there are 7 classes scheduled in November.  Awareness had a surprise class added for MI Works this year, in Detroit. We will be instructing the instructors. It will be a trip but as you know, it will be WELL worth the effort.

The Awareness quilt tickets are now on sale and will be drawn in January.  Kritter is still in need of instructors. Please contact Kritter if you have any interest in being an Awareness instructor.

RAVE Run was a success and Margaret’s quilt was a big help. Thank you’s from RAVE for contributions are on their website.  There were, however, breakdowns and out of gases, but overall a great time had by all.  Thanks again to all that participated.  Thanks to Zip and Marte for Giving a S**t.

RC Report by Mike:

On 10/1/17 Phil Comers, the No Hands Man, had his annual ride for Parkinson Disease.  Some of us from the region participated.  The goal this year was 680 miles but he got stopped between Clio and Birch Run due to people gawking at construction.  He ended about 200 hundred miles short due to the stop.  Kalamazoo news has a video article on the ride.

Nominations for elections to be held November 6 are as follows:

RC:  Bus and Kritter.

Secretary:  Sassy got it.

Treasurer:  General and Audrey.

L.O.:  Larry got it.

Seminar will be held same place as last year.  See Rider for details.

Next meeting will be on Monday, November 6 at Captain’s Quarters in Burton at 7pm.
