Region 20’s
Facebook page is being run by Sassy for
just a short time and the Region 20 email is still the same. We are always looking
for everyone to try and
communicate with others about what ABATE is about and have people like our
page. We can keep the goal of 650.
Awareness Report: Total for the year so far is 1,115 but
more classes for the month. Tickets for
Awareness quilt are one ticket for $1; 6 tickets for $5; 15 tickets for
$10. Please see Kritter for tickets.
Looking for volunteers to help increase the Awareness team, so if you
are interested, please contact Kritter.
Don’t forget it is not hard to be an instructor, come and sit in on a
class and see.
RC Report: At the January 8th meeting we had voted and
it was approved that the Region meetings will be changed to the end of the
month, the last Sunday to be exact. The
Region meetings will try and resume, occasionally at the Hickory Lounge,
however the dates has not been determined. There is an all Region meeting on
Feb. 18 in Taylor at the VFW at 1pm with a luncheon at 2pm, everyone is invited.
Our next Region meeting will be on Sunday Feb. 25 at 2pm Captain’s Quarters in
Burton. Make sure to note new day and time, same location. Meetings still may
change as year goes on.
