The B4B Bowling
Fun Raiser was a great success. We raised a lot of money for the event. 53 people came, including Flushing Rep Phil Phelps. Thank you, Bryan “Big B” and Crystal “Mrs. Big B” for your
idea, time & efforts, in creating this event & making it successful. Everyone had a great time.
The April
7th meeting came to order at 7:01 at our new meeting location at D-Railed Bar & Grill in Durand, MI. 23 people
total in attendance including new member Zack “Turbo” Short & guests Keith & Karen Stieber from region
11. Pledge of allegiance said & prayer by John.

83 students for the month & 134ytd. Awareness Party April 12th & Awareness Ride April 26, it leaves at
12pm ((on the dot), registration from 10- 11:30)) from Top End Cycle, 3360 S Dort Hwy, Burton, MI. It’s free & all
are welcome (donations are welcome).
Ø Marte (yup she’s back)
read the LO report: HB-4612 let’s stop this dead in its tracks. It is an insurance reform bill that will take motorcyclists
out of the catastrophic claims fund. HB-4663 (TIPS) is out of committee & HB-4265 (Red Light Bill) is in of committee.
We are a grass roots organization, & with our lobbyist on hold, it is up to us to FB, e-mail, snail mail, text & call
our reps. We have to let them know what we want & don’t want. June 4th is our Rally at the Capitol, everyone
needs to come. Let’s all put names & faces to our voices.
Ø Bryan read Cares & Concerns:
April birthdays, 2nd Terry “Cupcake” Berger, 18th Ellen “Mrs. Clause” Langworthy,
and 30th Mark “Bus” Berger. Randy & Mike Uniball’s surgeries went well. Please say prayers
for Eric “Kitty” West & his family in his upcoming surgery, a basket was auctioned at the Awareness Party
to help raise funds for them courtesy of “Bubbles & “Booboo”.

New emblem for B4B tee-shirts. We are ordering men & women’s tee’s & women’s tanks. Get your B4B
year patch now so you don’t have to wait in line.

Awareness Party on April 12, swap meet/bike show April 13, May 9th & 10th Bikin for Burns.
Ø Bryan read R.C.’s
report: Keith from region 11 told us about their 52 stop, all summer long, Poker Run & outreach to help support &
get support from neighboring regions. Margaret donated a special mystery box to be raffled off at the Awareness Party. B4B
preregistration is at Wally’s not Scooters this year. We still need members to step up for Web-Master, Media & events,
Membership & Cares & Concerns officer positions.
The next meeting is Monday, May 5th at D-Railed
in Durand.
