Secretary’s Note from Lisa Vail: The Halloween Party
was a great success. So many fantastic costumes and amazing people
made it a good time. We even got a few
new members. Thank you so much to
everyone that came and helped out. It
never ceases to amaze me how well a short skirt or sexy costume can keep so
many guys undivided attention.
Secretary’s
Report:
The November 2nd, meeting came to order at 2:06pm with
23 in attendance. Pledge of allegiance was said and prayer by BooBoo.
New officers were nominated.
Secretary/Awareness, Treasurer, Cares & Concerns,
M&E, and R.C. reports were read and accepted.
Meeting came to close at 4:42pm.
The November 3rd meeting came to order at 7:05pm with 28
in attendance. Pledge of allegiance said and prayer by Santa.

Robin Goyette (Treasurer). Welcome back guys!! Also congratulations to Marte
Merrell (Legislative Officer) and Lisa Vail (Secretary).

Membership), Georgia Wilson, Shannon Conklin and Rebecca Towns (Events
Coordinators), RC Conklin (Road Captain), Mike Poage (Co-RC), Terry Goyette

Miller (Chief Area Coordinator), Carrie Flood (Cares & Concerns Officer).
John Langworthy will stay Products and Carrie Flood will
stay Webmaster.
THE
#1 GOAL FOR THIS YEAR IS TO HAVE FUN!
We need your used motorcycle, motorcycle event and/or
ABATE t-shirts for a quilt to be raffled at Seminar.
Region 20 is proud to say that we are now MRF,
Awareness, and Legislative Supporters for 2014. A special thank you to Rich and
Lynn Turchi for a very generous donation that made it possible for us to be
Legislative Supporters. Thank you to
Mike Poage and John and Ellen Langworthy for the generous donation making it
possible for us to be Awareness Supporters.
Thank you to Amy Frantz, Stephen Kuch, Tim Health and Kathy Robinson for
the generous PAC fund donations.
Remember that every dollar counts.
Region 20 wants to thank Dave Turner, Jane McMillan and
Terry Brown Jr. for making the trip to the Shiawassee Meeting.
Cares & Concerns: November Birthdays: Lorenda
Edwards, 4th; Travis Bilger, 6th; and Lisa Vail, 7th. At the Shiawassee meeting
Tim Heath shared with us that Lynn Turchi’s parents were both terminally ill
and that it was merely a matter of time until their departure. Later that night,
Lynn lost her mother and 7
days later her father. Please keep Lynn and her family in your prayers.
December 1 will be a combined meeting at the VFW Hall,
G5056 S. Saginaw, Grand Blanc Twp. Meeting time: Officers @ 6pm and Members
& Guests @ 7pm. (This is due to the Christmas Party on the first Sunday of
the Month).
December 7 at 4pm is our Region 20 Christmas Party. Please
bring a dish to pass and a wrapped
present that costs less than $10 for every child you bring with you. Please
be sure to put their name on the gift
so Santa will know who to call up. Party will be at Consumers Energy Union
Hall, 3505 Commercial Avenue, Burton, MI.
January 23-25 is Seminar (and Randy’s 50th
birthday celebration). Come to Seminar and be prepared to have a whole lot of
fun. (Information is on the website for reservations.)
